YOUTH Day the Hottest
iCare supported Youth for Next Step network in the event “YOUTH Day the Hottest” gathering youths to erupt their goodness out in the middle of Siam square.
Youth for Next Step; the social benefit organization focusing on youth development, together with Youth for Next Step clubs in universities such as CU, TU, KU, MU and BUU, conducted the event in the occasion of National Youth Day as “YOUTH Day the Hottest” on the past Saturday 7th September 2013 at the ground space in front of Hard Rock Café, Siam square. Leading by the “Dee Deūat” activity which means the boiling of goodness, gathering youth to plant and donate them to inadequate areas. Aside from that, there were also other activities such as Youth Idol awards (Colonel Wanchana Sawaddee, Best Orapim, Seub Nakhasathien Foundation), youth problems exhibition and youth showcases from 10 different regions of Thailand. Alongside with giveaway free “Youth magazine” which written by youth and mini concert from 20 universities.
This event is created in order to influence teenagers to realize and believe that their power can make something better, and realize the importance of “Youth” which will be the people that able to determine the future of our country.
